It’s defintely a worthy cause to help out, as a close friend of mine from high school found out she developed it when she was young..I remember the news hit her pretty hard, but she overcame the obstacle and ventured forward vowing not to let it affect her again.

Anyhow, some great music was played, and met some pretty cool people. It was pretty slow going trying to convince folks to come up and get a shot in front of the backdrop, though there were a few that were definitely unabashed ;-)

Javon, Jazmyn, and little Miya were an absolute blast to work with! Miya was cute as a button, and it was a breeze to work with her as her big brother and sister got her to laugh and giggle a lot! Mom was so worried she didnt have a nap before, but no problems here!

Great family, looking forward to shooting Javon’s senior portraits in a couple of years!

Laura is the second of four auction winners from the CVRx company benefit for the Susan G. Komen foundation to come in!

We had a great time shooting. Sydney and her sister were a couple of goofballs the entire time, but made for some great smiles.

Michele was tagging along with us to observe at Sara and Brad’s wedding as she is looking to get back into the business as a wedding director, and without any expectation, she jumped right in and was instrumental in coordinating and directing people for Allen and I during the pre-ceremony pictures and making sure the Sara (and her dress) were not in any harm’s way. She is extremely detail oriented and never missed a beat.

I definitely look forward to working with her again in the near future!

What a perfect autumn day for a wedding.  Sara and Brad were married on October 18, 2008 at Brad’s parent’s lakeshore house. The ceremony went very well and the reception was definitely a memorable one. We were able to get some great shots of them throughout the day and had a great time! I should have pictures edited and ready for viewing within about a week, so come back and check it out. In the mean time, I posted the engagement photos that we took a week earlier.
